Brazilian Wax

Brazilian Wax

The Brazilian Wax originated where small bikinis are worn, and the incredible rate at which it has gained popularity makes it clear that it is truly special. Brazilian Wax, in effect, removes ALL of the hair. You can choose a modified Brazilian leaving only a thin strip (referred to by some as a “landing strip”, a “playboy”, or an inverted “v”, or whatever your preference is.

In order to wax, your hair needs to be at least 1/4 of an inch long. If you show up at your appointment with less than 1/4 inches, your esthetician may suggest making an appointment at a later date.

Avoid alcohol and too much caffeine before an appointment, as both alcohol and caffeine may also increase sensitivity.

Take OTC pain relief

Ibuprofen can be taken 30 minutes before your Brazilian Wax to help curb any pain if needed.

Wear loose-fitting clothing

Wear loose-fitting clothing

After your appointment, wear breathable cotton underwear or loose bottoms to keep your pubic region comfortable. After waxing, wearing too snug underwear may irritate an already sensitive area.
