Microblading

Manual microblading is a process that involves tiny, fine-point needles (instead of a tattoo gun) that make up a small disposable blade and handle (picture a very small tool that looks like a small comb) to scratch and deposit pigment simultaneously under your skin. The result? Realistic-looking brow hairs that don’t wash off.

Ombre Powder Brow

Ombre is a powdered brow technique for clients who prefer fuller results than hair strokes, but still want them to appear very soft. This look resembles daily makeup done with an eyebrow pencil or eyebrow shadow. This particular procedure is our most common type of Brow done, as it’s considered the “Instagram Brow” by our younger clientele. Several different types of Power Ombre Brow are available and good for all skin types, especially oily skin with large pores. ***A consultation for all PMU procedures is required to talk about which service is best for your needs and what you’re looking for.

Hybrid Microblading & Ombre

The “Combo” brow is a combination of microblading and the “Ombré Powder Brow” technique. Both [microblading and ombré shading] are semi-permanent tattoos, but microblading is making short hair-like strokes. Ombré brows are a series of many fine dots that vary in concentration, giving the look of a powdered brow.

This procedure is perfect for clients who like the look of a soft penciled or powdered eyebrow or for clients wanting a more defined look throughout the entire brow. The healing process for this type of brow is the same as microblading since we will be putting some realistic strokes at the bulb of the brow and anywhere there is hair missing.

It is possible to combine both techniques as one can be used at the beginning of the brow and the other can be used on the ends. For those short little vertical lines, microblading might look good on the front and ombré would look good through the brow and on the tail. The goal is a more natural look, allowing the most minor of hair flicks in the beginning and preventing the brow from starting in a solid mass.

This combination allows even those with sparse or little hair to have a more natural, full-looking brows. Results from the Combo Brow will make you wake up smiling!

Combo Brows and Ombre Powder Brows typically last 2-4 years, but will still need a touchup every 2-4 years. Cosmetic tattoo treatments are considered permanent and will not wash off, though they will fade over time and may need to be refreshed annually. Those who did not follow after care instructions properly may require more frequent touch ups. Keep in mind though that everyone’s skin is different.

Although the procedure can take 1-2 hours, most people report only feeling minor pressure or discomfort and less pain than a typical tattoo due to the use of a numbing cream. Of course, this will depend on your own personal tolerance to pain. Some level of pain or discomfort should be expected. We use three different types of topical numbing agents to help alleviate any discomfort. Having this service performed during your menstrual cycle may increase discomfort during your procedure.

Your brows will take 10-14 days to heal. During that time frame, we highly recommend that you let them naturally exfoliate off. DO NOT PICK AT YOUR BROWS! You would also be encouraged to keep them free of water, sweat, steam, etc. Once the scabbing phase passes, the brows will appear lighter, and their true color should come out after 4-6 weeks. It is also recommended that if you go outside to wear a hat; you don’t want your new brows to be damaged by the sun while they are healing! Don’t worry though, as long as you’re good at following the aftercare instructions provided there shouldn’t be a problem going to work or being out in public.

WHAT IS EYELASH ENHANCEMENT LINER?

Lash Enhancement Liner is the latest PMU beauty procedure on the rise. The technique involves tattooing a light black line across your natural lashes (not on your waterline) and can be done on the top, bottom, or both lash lines. The procedure requires a 4-6 week touch-up period after the initial process. Once the touch-ups are complete, the results can last up to 3-5 years.

WHAT IS SMUDGE LINER?

Smudge Liner is very similar to the Lash Enhancement Liner, however, it’s thicker and heals out to be more like traditional eyeliner that you would draw on with a pencil or liquid eyeliner pen. The procedure involves tattooing a thicker black line across your natural lashes (not on your waterline) and can be done on the top and bottom (or both) of the lash line. The procedure requires a 4-6 week touch-up period after the intial process. Once the touch-ups are done, the results can last up to 3-5 years.

Lip Blushing is a form of semi-permanent makeup. Essentially, it is a cosmetic tattoo of the lips that enhances the beauty of the natural lip color, improving the shape of the lips, giving definition and the illusion of fullness, This procedure delivers very natural results, once healed. Filler is great for creating volume in your lips, but lip blush delivers a more natural look and give the illusion of fuller lips.

For any PMU brows, at least one touch-up appointmentis needed 6-8 week after your initial procedure. Touch ups are done no earlier than 4 weeks after your initial procedure and no later than 8. You will be required to schedule your touch-up within 8 weeks of your initial procedure which will be complimentary to your procedure. You will be required to pay a touch up fee outlined in the touch-up schedule if it is after 8 weeks. It is absolutely imperative to complete the touch up treatment. Without it, the results will not be optimal. At the touch up, we assess the color retention and make adjustments as necessary. Everyone heals differently and at different rates. If your cosmetic tattoo does not heal perfectly the first time, do not worry! PLEASE NOTE: THE RESULTS ARE NATURAL, FULLER-LOOKING BROWS OR LIPS. INITIALLY, THE BROWS EYELINER, OR LIPS MAY APPEAR DARKER BUT FADE SIGNIFICANTLY OVER THE FIRST TWO WEEKS. ALTHOUGH WE USE PREMIUM PRODUCTS AND PROVIDE QUALITY SERVICE, ALL CLIENTS HEAL DIFFERENTLY AND MANY FACTORS LEAD TO VARIED RESULTS. IT IS CRUCIAL TO HAVE A TOUCH-UP DONE AS IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO PREDICT HOW WELL YOUR SKIN WILL RETAIN THE PIGMENT. DUE TO THIS AND OTHER VARYING FACTORS, WE CAN NOT GUARANTEE YOUR RESULTS.

If you have had PMU done elsewhere and need a touch up the full service price will be charged as if you are a new client. I will also need to see you for a consultation before hand to see if you are a good candidate for my services. Microblading CANNOT be done as a corrective. At that point you can only choose Combo or Ombre Brow and that will be assessed during your consultation.
